1. First you want to code all your different marketing methods, for example: If you're going to post some ads in Yahoo, you would code your url like the following so when you get a signup you know where it's coming from.
   http://YourGatewayLink/123456.50 (replace the word "YourGatewayLink" with the link that you want to use, and the 123456 with your own SFI ID)
2. Save all your ad headings and the ads that you're going to use in notepad so when you're ready to post your ads all you have to do is copy and paste.
3. Now before you start posting I recommend you setup about 5 or 6 e-mail addresses or different autoresponders. Among many others, fastfacts.net is a good place to get a free autoresponder. The reason for this is when you post your ads you don't want to look like you're spamming.
4. Autoresponders work better because there are one's like fastfacts.net that will enable you to send 4 or more messages when someone clicks on your e-mail. We get a lot of signups after they have received the third or 4th e-mail from the autoresponder. There are some other good autoresponders at the resource center in the discussion board area at: http://www.dboardresources.com/
5. A lot of classified sites will not except ads from SFI, so to get around this you need to get a free site to link to your SFI gateway pages as explained under Site Options.
6. Now you are ready to start posting your ads. Your headline is everything so make sure it's catchy but not misleading. I suggest you post several different headlines using different codes so you know which one is working best and what classified sites work well.
7. Now you want to post in as many different categories as you can using the different ads and e-mails or autoresponders you have setup. The more exposure the more signups.
8. Keep a tally of all the sites that are working and not working so you know where to spend your time promoting.
9. When posting to FFA submitters do the same thing as for the classified sites. We have found that a lot of these free FFA submitters will not except the same url or e-mail address more then once so it's good to use many different one's.
10. At the end of each week keep a tally of all your signups and find out what is working best for you and be constantly looking for other ways to promote cheap or free on the web. You never know when you may find a great way or place to get signups.
